RYO TSUTSUI
A DJ and producer who has launched popular parties such as EDEN and WEEKEND WARRIORZ in Tokyo. He has performed in various cities including Ibiza, Berlin, New York, Hong Kong, Melbourne, Bali, Thailand, Macau, and Seoul. In Japan, he won the “RED BULL NIGHT MASTER” club event competition hosted by Red Bull in 2009 as part of EDEN. In November of the same year, he also won the individual DJ contest “PARAGONICA,” achieving a double crown and earning a two-week tour of Chile in South America as the prize.
He has also participated in producing large-scale festivals such as StarFes and Hacienda, and in 2019 opened his own club ORIZURU in Tokyo’s Kabukicho district. As a music producer, he released the Tokyo EP from New York’s EON5 in 2012, followed by releases on Japan’s Totem Traxx, Housetribe Recordings, Croatia’s Audiometric Records, and the Netherlands’ Aenaria Tribal.
In 2021, he launched a new project called EN FESTIVAL, kicking off with a pre-opening event at Japan’s largest club, ageHa. In 2022, he hosted the main festival at Nasu Highland Park, the largest amusement park in Northern Kanto. In October 2023, he performed at a collaborative event with Japanese radio program SENSOR during the Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) in the Netherlands. In 2024, he released his track “Where is the Fresh Beat?”
from the legendary Chicago-based label TRAX RECORDS, which played a key role in the birth of house music.
東京にてEDENやWEEKEND WARRIORZなど⼈気のパーティを⽴ち上げてきたDJ、プロデューサー。イビサ、ベルリン、ニューヨーク、⾹港、メルボルン、バリ、タイ、マカオ、ソウルなど様々な都市でプレイを披露するとともに⽇本において2009年RED BULLが主催するクラブイベントのコンペティション“RED BULL NIGHT MASTER”にEDENとして優勝。同年11⽉には個⼈としてDJコンテスト“PARAGONICA”も優勝し⼆冠を達成、優勝者として2週間に及ぶ南⽶チリツアーを経験。 またStarFesやHaciendaなどの⼤型フェスのプロデュースに参画、2019年には新宿歌舞伎町に⾃⾝がプロデュースするクラブORIZURU を出店するなど多⽅⾯で活躍。楽曲制作においても2012年にニューヨークのEON5よりTokyo EPを発表したのを⽪切りに、⽇本のTotem Traxx、HousetribeRecordings、クロアチアのAudiometric Records、オランダAenaria Tribalより楽曲を発表。2021 年、新プロジェクトEN FESTIVAL を⽴ち上げると⽇本最⼤のクラブageHa にてプレオーブンイベントを敢⾏。2022 年、満を辞して北関東最⼤の遊園地、那須ハイランドパークにて本祭を開催。2023 年10 ⽉にはオランダ、アムステルダムのカンファレンスADE にて⽇本のラジオ番組SENSOR とのコラボレーションイベントに出演、2024 年ハウス発祥に⼤きく関わったシカゴの伝説的レーベルTRAX RECORDS より⾃⾝の曲”Where
is the Fresh beat?”を発表。
